Topic: Technical writing and research methodology for computer science and AI research Speakers: Hao-Hua Chu, Adjunct Professor, National Taiwan University Department of Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering Time: 2024.3.5 (Tue) 14:00-16:00 Venue: CGU Artificial Intelligence Research Center (Management Building 11F) About the Speaker: Prof. HH Chu received his B.S. in computer science from Cornell University and Ph.D. in computer science from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign under the supervision of Prof. Klara Nahrstedt. He worked at the Design Research Institute, Xerox Corporation, Intel Corporation, and as a project manager at (NTT) DoCoMo USA Labs in California. Since August 2003, he has been in Taiwan to teach at the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taiwan University. He was on sabbatical at the CS Department at Stanford in 2013, and at the Berkeley Institute of Design (BiD) at U.C. Berkeley in 2011. His research areas include ubiquitous and pervasive computing, wearable computing, sensor networks, and human computer interaction.
